Steps To Register:

1. Register online with USA Hockey (Required for all players)

2. Register online with Avon Hockey (Only programs open for registration will display)

For Travel Teams Only:

A $100 late fee will be applied for registrations/commitments filed after the deadline listed during the registration process.

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Appropriate players 8 years of age and younger who have completed at least one year of Developmental.


What time of the year does this program run?

Season begins September 2024 and runs until the beginning of March 2025.


Where are practices and games typically held?

Practices are typically held at the AOF rink with the possibility of some practices scheduled at ISCC. Home games are held at the AOF rink and away will be held in the state of CT.


When are practices and how often are they?

Mites Teams practice together 2 times per week. Please review the schedule on this website for specific dates and times posted at the beginning of each month.


How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Teams will typically play 2 games over each weekend over the course of the season.


Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Practice jerseys are provided to each player during the season.

What uniform apparel is required for 8U Travel that I need to buy?

Navy Blue Helmet, Navy Pants or Navy Shell, White Home & Navy Away Hockey Socks and White Home & Navy Away Jerseys.

2024-2025 8U Mites Travel

This registration is for the 8U travel teams for the 2024-2025 season.

The total cost for the 8U travel team season is $1,925.00. This applies for the Mites A, A1, B, & C team.

There will be $350 commitment fee that will be applied to your total registration cost..

The registration deadline is March 15, 2024 at 5:00pm. After this deadline there will be a $100 late fee associated with registration. Any late fees collected will be transferred to the ACFYHA Scholarship Fund.

As a reminder, as part of registration you are automatically signed up for our auto-pay program which deducts tuition payments from your credit card on a periodic basis pursuant to the Program Fee Schedule. As stated during registration, you may opt-out of the auto-pay program by contacting the Treasurer (treasurer@acfyha.com) and requesting to be removed from this program. If you choose not to participate in this program, you will still need to make the payments via credit card or check by the dates specified in the Program Fee Schedule unless an alternate payment plan has been set up with and approved by the Treasurer. Failure to meet the payment deadlines in the Program Fee Schedule, or the deadlines in your alternate payment plan, may result in your child being unable to participate in practices and games.
