2026 Thanksgiving Tournament

Registration for the 31st annual tournament is now open. Please use the registration button below to register your team:

Space is limited so please register as soon as possible. Registration will close on Sunday November 2, 2026.

WHAT:

Avon Hockey is hosting their 31st Annual Thanksgiving Tournament November 27 - November 29th, 2025. 

LOCATION:

Games will be played at Avon Old Farms, Simsbury Farms, ISCC Simsbury and Veterans Memorial rink (West Hartford).

DIVISIONS:

Mites: A, A1, B, C

Squirts: A, A1, & B

Peewees: A, A1, & B

Bantams: A & B

FORMAT:

There is a three-game minimum for each team.

Mite cross-ice games will be (2) 24-minute halves.

Squirt/Peewee/Bantam tournament games will be (3) 12 minute periods.

ENTRY FEES:

Mite Teams are $800.

Squirt, Peewee and Bantam are $1,500. 

A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due by Friday October 2, 2026. Full payment is due by Friday November 6, 2025. Payments may be made by check or through the registration link. Checks should be made payable to “Avon Hockey” and mailed to Jennifer Chase/Avon Hockey, 17 Founders Way, Avon CT 06001. Registration will not be deemed complete until payment is received. A copy of your USA Hockey Team Registration should be mailed to the tournament director no later than November 6, 2025.

AWARDS & AMENITIES:

·      Medals will be awarded to players from both championship and runner-up teams in all divisions

FAQ:

Admission: There will be NO admission charge for these games.
