Practice jerseys are provided to each player during the season.
2023-2024 8U Mites In-House
Recreational Hockey for Players Ages 5 Through 8. This registration is for the Mite In-House program. You will be required to enter a valid USA Hockey confirmation number during the process, which will confirm that the player is registered with USA Hockey. To register with USA Hockey, please go to membership.usahockey.com.
Program Description: Our In-House program is designed for youngsters who have completed the ACFYHA Developmental Program (or have equivalent experience) and want to continue to develop their skills. Participants will have approximately two-hour long sessions per week. This program is designed to focus on continued skill development through small area games while providing opportunities to play hockey in a cross-ice setting. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and the development of self-esteem are stressed. The price for this program is $1,200.
The program is set to begin on October 14 and runs through the beginning of March. Sessions will generally alternate between 7:00 am and 8:00 am on Saturdays and Sundays. Schedule will be updated throughout the season on the Avon Hockey website.
