From Interstate 84 take Exit 39, Route 4/Farmington West. Follow the road for just under a mile to the 3rd light, take a right onto Waterville Road/Route 10 North. Proceed approximately 3 miles to a traffic light, take a left onto Old Farms Road. Follow the road past Fisher Meadows athletic fields. Turn right just past the soccer fields into Avon Old Farms School. Follow the road up the hill and to the left. 500 Old Farms Road, Avon , CT.
Directions to Simsbury Farms Rink
From Interstate 84 take Exit 39, Route 4/Farmington West. Follow the road for just under a mile to the 3rd light, take a right onto Waterville Road/Route 10 North. Proceed approximately 5.5 miles. At the traffic light (intersection of Rt. 10 & Rt. 44), take a left onto East Main Street and follow the road for just under 3 miles. Take a right onto Bushy Hill Road (Rt. 167). Follow Bushy Hill Road for 3.6 miles. Take a left at the light at Stratton Brook Road. About 1.5 miles Stratton Brook Road becomes Old Farms Road. Follow for 1 mile. Turn right into the Simsbury Farms Recreational Complex. 100 Old Farms Road, West Simsbury, CT.
Directions to Westminster School
From Interstate 84 take Exit 39, Route 4/Farmington West. Follow the road for just under a mile to the 3rd light, take a right onto Waterville Road/Route 10 North. Proceed approximately 5.5 miles. At the traffic light (intersection of Rt. 10 & Rt. 44), take a left onto East Main Street and follow the road for just under a mile. Take a right onto Simsbury Road (Rt. 10/202). Follow the road for 6 miles (road name will change to Hopmeadow Street. Take a left into Westminster School and follow the signs to the hockey rink. 995 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT.
Alternate Directions to Westminster School:
On Saturday November 30th, there will be a event happening in late afternoon/early evening in the center of Simsbury. This may cause traffic issues. The following are alternate directions to Westminster school.
From Avon Old Farms, take a left out of the driveway onto Old Farms Road. At the light take a left onto Waterville road. When you crossover the intersection of Rt. 44, the road turns into Nod Road. Follow Nod Road to the end. Take a right onto Hartford Road (Rt. 185), and then a quick left onto East Weatogue St. The road will turn into Terrys Plain Road. Keep on Terrys Plain road for about 2.5 miles (keep left at the 2nd stop sign) and follow until the road ends. Take a left onto Tariffville Road (rt. 315). Just a head take a left onto Hopmeadow Street (Rt. 10/202). Westminster School will be just down on your right.
