Game Jerseys, Sock and Shell Order Information

In order to have uniforms for the start of the 2020-2021 season, please order by June 30, 2020. 

If you already have a jersey number assigned within Avon Hockey, that number is yours and you are free to order without checking with the Avon Hockey Registrar.

New players, and any player wishing to change their number, should send their top 3 choices to  .

ACFYHA will NOT be responsible for wrong numbers being ordered. If a player orders an unauthorized number, he/she will NOT be able to use it.

Please review the uniform guidelines below that apply to your division. 
 
We understand that the added cost of new jerseys may be challenging, so all returning ACFYHA players at the 10U, 12U, and 14U levels will receive a $100 credit applied to their account to assist with this expense. In lieu of the account credit, families purchasing jerseys may choose to commit their $100 credit to the ACFYHA Scholarship Fund. In order to request the jersey credit, or to direct that your credit be applied to the ACFYHA Scholarship Fund, please complete the Jersey Credit/Scholarship Fund form that can be found on the main registration page of the Avon Hockey website.
 
All players at the 10U, 12U, and 14U levels are required to wear navy blue pants or shell with the Avon Hockey logo. Players may wear the NEW or OLD style of socks. New players, and any player wishing to change their number, should send their top 3 choices to  . 
 
All jersey orders must be placed by June 30, 2020.
 
14U (Bantam) Players  
Players are not required to purchase new jerseys, but returning players who do so will receive the NEW style jersey and a $100 credit to their account to reduce the jersey expense, or to provide a donation to the scholarship fund. We recognize that teams may have players in both styles of jerseys for a season or two, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we transition to the new updated style of jersey. Either navy pants or the Avon Hockey logoed shell (worn over hockey pants) is required. The new or old style of sock may be worn.
 
12U (PeeWee) and 10U (Squirt) Players
All 12U and 10U level players will be required to purchase new home and away jerseys for the 2020-2021 season. All returning players will receive a $100 credit to their account to reduce the jersey expense, or to provide a donation to the scholarship fund. Either navy pants or the Avon Hockey logoed shell (worn over hockey pants) is required. The new or old style of sock may be worn.
 
8U (Mite) Players
New this season, Avon Hockey will purchase jerseys for the 8U travel teams. Players will be loaned a jersey with an assigned number, and jerseys will be returned at the end of the season for a thorough cleaning. Once players move to 10U, they may choose their own number.
 
Returning 8U (Mite) players will be issued one of the new jerseys to be worn for all games. Either black, navy, or Avon Hockey logoed shell (worn over hockey pants) is required. The new or old style of sock may be worn.
 
This structure will eliminate the rush in the fall to order jerseys for the many families who are new to travel hockey at the 8U level.
  
Selection of Jersey Numbers for New Travel Team Players
NEW travel players at the 10U, 12U, and 14U levels need to send their top 3 number choices to Matt Slattery, the Registrar, at  . All jersey numbers must be cleared by the Registrar prior to ordering your jerseys. Current Avon Hockey players (those that played on a travel team during the 2019-2020 season) that have already been assigned a number, keep their number as long as they remain with Avon Hockey and do not need to check with the registrar prior to ordering new jerseys unless they wish to select a different number.
